. GALLERY PARTICIPATION
Participation in the Kerlin Softworks gallery is a way for users of our products to voluntarily showcase their talent and demonstrate the power of our software. Obviously, submissions must incorporate Kerlin Softworks software in some manner. Please only submit finished animations since we can't guarantee the frequency at which updates occur to the gallery.

Unlike some other companies that pop up your work, your name, or directly link to your animation, we do things differently. Every accepted submission has its own page which details relevant information about the animation and its author. The exhaustive list shown below will detail your experience in addition to providing real world applications of various plugins and rendering packages.

Unfortunately, due to server resource restrictions, we can't accept all submissions. We're looking for animations that show creative uses for the software we develop and ones that are incorporated into animations which are visually interesting. While we'd love to show the world every "hello world" animation you create, we simply do not have the resources.

All submissions must include the following information:

    1. The name and version of the rendering package you used.

How many times have you seen an animation or image and said, "I didn't know you could do that with [3d package]!" Show off the power of your software and drop names.

    2. The names and versions of Kerlin Softworks applications used.

      Duh.

    3. The names and versions of any 3rd party plugins used.

How many times have you seen an animation or image and said, "You can't do that with [3d package]!" Show off the power of some of your plugins and drop names.

    4. A direct link to the animation.

This animation will be downloaded and stored on Kerlin Softworks' servers. It will be displayed when a visitor clicks on the "view animation" link.

    5. A direct link to any codecs used.

As a service to our gallery visitors, we like to provide a direct link to any codecs used in the compression of the animation. How many times have you clicked on an animation only to find that you didn't have the proper codec? And now, how many times have you tried to find the codec? Rarely? Never? By including a direct link to the codec, you increase the odds of someone viewing your animation in the event they don't have the proper codec installed.

    6. Your real name for display in the gallery.

If you wish to remain anonymous, you'll still need to enter your real name followed by the word "anonymous". e.g., Dave Davis anonymous

    7. Your email address that viewers can use to contact you from the gallery.

After viewing your work, visitors to the gallery may want to get in touch with you. If you'd rather not post your email address, you'll still need to enter your email address followed by "nodisplay" e.g., test nodisplay

    8. A description of the animation.

This is a freeform field that you can use to pass along tips and tricks, obstacles overcome, story behind the piece, etc. Please keep this field under 15k of text.

Once you have everything in order click here to submit your work.
